2019-11 (Nov) FAIR NYC Chapter Meeting (Robert Immella, Josh Jelonek, Todd Waszkelewicz)
On November 13, 2019, the Greater NYC Chapter of the FAIR Institute held a chapter meeting at the ADP One Penn Plaza office near Madison Square Garden. The meeting featured a panel discussion on data gathering, which was well received. We plan to use the panel format again in 2020.
For the panel we were fortunate to have three advanced FAIR practitioners, each experienced with a unique aspect of data gathering in support of quantitative risk analysis. The session began with each panelist presenting where inside or outside of their organizations they are finding necessary data and overcoming roadblocks. The panelists then fielded questions from the membership for well over 30 minutes.
Here is the agenda and a couple pictures of the event:
3:30PM - FAIR Overview for those arriving early, Paige O'Reilly, RiskLens
4:00PM - Welcome / Introductions / Announcements, Steve Reznik, ADP
4:30PM - Panel Discussion - Tips for Gathering Useful Analysis Data in a Timely Manner - Robert Immella, Key Bank; Josh Jelonek, Verizon; Todd Waszkelewicz, Federal Reserve Bank of New York
5:15PM - 2020 Chapter Meeting Planning, Steve Reznik
5:30PM - Networking Time
Thank you Rob, Josh, and Todd for sharing your experience and expertise with the NYC Chapter!
